I have no info about this one (not included in Dr. Battushig's book)..perhaps Urnuh or one of our other Mongolian-speaking comrades can translate the Mongolian Script on the sides.

This is a huge badge! Somewhat crudely made, but still cool.

The inscription on the badge reads "Mongol Altai". The badge was issued to alpinists who conquered Altai Mountain's highest point in 1975. Quite a rare badge. Congrats!

I have one. Mine measures 44.8 mm in diameter. Does yours measure same?

Thanks for the translation. :thumbsup I measured mine today, 44.67mm diameter on mine. Likely the same size or a slight variation.
