I picked up this set yesterday and are wondering about it. As I can´t read any russian it would be helpful if someone could translate some of the documents or give me any thoughts about the orders etcetera.

There are many medals and the orders are shown here. Documents to all medals and orders exists.

Fredrik, I can't read anything from the small resolution photos. As for many others on this forum, for $10 I'll give a summary of the contents of your booklet. If interested, PM me.

Can't help notice it looks like a uniform, Do you mind posting a pic of the entire set?

Yes it is a uniform. I can post pictures of it tomorrow. Tried to get higher resolution images but the file size was limited to 100 kb and the external image server i tried to use instead was blocked.

Nice set, post closeups of that order book and docs! :)

One of the badges is to a Baltic Fleet veteran. Pretty sure it doesn't belong, as the recipient was in the Army, mortar detachment commander.

Definitely the same guy. Great citations too--looks like he commanded a scout platoon (the OPW-2 award) before he commanded a mortar platoon (Red Star). You should translate them, folks here do it for a small fee.
