Re: bizarre

Eric, I'm sure you know already, but it's a "strange brew" of Bulgarian awards ranging from military and GPW victory anniversary medals, to a labor medal, to 100 years of the birth of Dmitrov and in the middle an MVR (MVD/KGB by this time) service medal Type 2 that is either for 10 or 20 years (I can't see enough of the markings on the reverse). I doubt they are all for the same person, but then again, the Bulgarian government pretty much handed out medals and made them on the cheap.;)

Re: bizarre

All Bulgarian... the highest award that I see in the mix is a 2nd Class Order of Labour (2nd type). Might well be an assembly of "new old stock".

Re: bizarre

Seems very much to me a "made to attract attention" lot. I know of very many Bulgarian dealers that throw together items with poor retail value together to try and make an interesting lot.
