Petrzhikovskij/Pietrzykowski, Stefan Petrovich, Civil War, Leningrad, Polish Army
Again a set that I was uncertain where to add, as this officer moved to Poland after the war, but since most of the documents are in Russian and are about his service in the USSR, this seems to be a better place.
Stefan Petrovich Petrzhikovskiy/Stefan Pietrzykowski was born on 2nd September 1902 in Zawichost near Kielce, Russian Empire at that time. As the documents will show, he later found himself in Russia and took part in the civil war in Crimea. During the WW2 he found himselfin besiedged Kronshtad and later became a uniform supply officer in the 1st Light Artillery Regiment of the 1st Infantry Regiment of the newly created Polish Army in the USSR. The oldest document in this set is his Labor booklet from 1935 Gives his date of birth as IX 1902, nationality as Polish, secondary education, profession as Collector (?), Optician Mechanic with4 years of experience, member of the VKP (b), member of machine construction (?) workers trade union, removed from military record. |

Re: mjr. S. P. Petrzhikovskij/Stefan Pietrzykowski - Civil War, def./Leningrad, Polis
His work history starts in may 1915 with the work of cook's apprentice in ? on river Volga. than in september 1918 he became an orderly in hospital in Kazan.
A month later he became a writer in Uezd Military Komissariat in ? In September 1919 he volunteered for the Red Army where he served for 10 years, untill his demobilization because of illness. In december 1929 he became a worker of the special registry (?) of the Leningrad Sovkino (?) In april 1930 he became a mechanic in the State Optical Plant. In October 1931 he became a student at the state ? Trust in Vologda. A month later he was already in some commanding function, but I can't read what the entry says - he was in some Educational-Industrial Plant. In march 1934 he became a mechanic in State Optical Plant in Leningrad. He worked there until november when he was released from work on his own wish. A month later he was already a mechanic in the Institute of the Aerial Photography, but in february following Year he was released from work due to reduction of work. Next month he was already a Chairman of the ZRK (? Committee of???) of the workers of Justice. This work finished in August 1935 with the liquidation of the ZRK Next month hewas the chairman of the liquidation comission of the ZRK in ? where he worked until december the same year. He than became a Shop inspector in the LSPO (Leningrad Consumer Associacions Union?), but a month later was fired due to being unfit for the work. From february to november he worked in "Lengalpromsoyuz". Than for a year he worked again as a mechanic, but the writing is unintelligible again. |

Re: Petrzhikovskij/Pietrzykowski, Stefan Petrovich, Civil War, Leningrad, Polish Army
In 1940 he was already in Kronshtad - his father-in-law died there on 15th August 1940.
On 14th January 1942 the City VK of Kronshtad issued him a temporary ID in exchange of his Voennyi Bilet - giving his rank as "reserve commander". When he left the army, there were no officers there yet... |

Re: Petrzhikovskij/Pietrzykowski, Stefan Petrovich, Civil War, Leningrad, Polish Army
In february, he was issued this memo, stating that he (still as reserve commander!) is in active military service and has the function of commander of ? (last letters seem to be VMF). The document was signed by the chef of staff of the 13 Separate Artillery Unit of the Kronshtad Fortified Sector sr. lt. Letoshko.
On 3rd March, he received another memo stating that he serves in the same unit and receives financial support. Can't make out his function. |

Re: Petrzhikovskij/Pietrzykowski, Stefan Petrovich, Civil War, Leningrad, Polish Army
On 18 June 1942 he was send (on a leave or on duty?) to the city of Kronshtad where he was allowed to stay from 6th to 18th June.
The doc was signed by the commander of the same artillery unit cpt. Akimov and Commissar of the unit sr. politruk Glushenko. He later found himself in Saratov, as on 2.10.1942 he was issued this card for train travel from Saratov to Tatishchevo. |
