Guys,
I think when refering to these awards we should also be aware that there is a difference between the Peoples Republic of China and the Republic of China (Taiwan)

This Chinese medal was awarded to soldiers from the "BoHai" (the sea in the most northerly part of the eastern) region

the year on the reverse is 1949
