Weapon factory mark

[Al-muell]

It was found north ofthe city of Bia³a Podlaska (eastern poland), about 60km from Briest. I don't know of any remarkable battle there (but there were some fights at the end of war), but I see a few reasons why it was found there:
1.Lost by a soldier killed in 1939 (very unlikely - there was almost none anti-Soviet resistance at that time).
2.The owner lost it/was killed while retreating after german attack.
3.Belonged to AL (pro-Soviet) partisan.
4.Owner was killed in some minor struggle in the last period of war.
Because of the date I think 2 is most likely to be true.

It was found by my friend, who sold it to me for a good price.

It cannot be cleaned more than it's now, I belive (It was in much more worse condition when I saw it for the first time). There is a possibility to buy original replacement parts, but they are axpensive and I don't like the idea of replacing parts in such items unless some of them are missing.
