Hmm, thanks, but I think, I'll wait to see it in person first. It's likely to appear on eBay or at some main dealers' site soon.
As odd as it sounds, but in Russia, even with the scarce quantities like 1000 copies, all those books end up here, with just a handfull sold there. That is a fact with Muzalevsky book, and Kutsenko "Marshals and Admirals...". Even though I have several Nevsky's, I'd skip for now. Thanks for the info, though. Cheers, Alex. |

I did nt purchase it for the similar reasons.
I'd also like to see the book before I buy it. On top of that, the chances that Nevskys from my collection will be one out of 360 in the book - are slim. If I knew for sure that I am a proud owner of one of them - then $50 would be good deal for me. :D |

I know its pricy but I would buy such a book. Any book that actaully lists the serial number with the citations etc is worthwhile. If you happen to have one of the awards then its superb but the information contained in the citations may spill over into other groups.
For one of the first Soviet groups I bought I found in another dealers list a citation to a another guy in the same unit for an event only a few days later than the one I had. So its amazing how much you can learhn from citations of other groups. Where can one buy this book? Kind regards Munroe |

Guys,
This sounds like a an excellent book. Imagine what it would cost to have this information researched, and you can see where the value comes in. I'd be most interested in buying this book. Also, is there any English summarization of the text? I know Eugene and Alexei like to post in the "Reference Materials For Sale" section. If there is enough demand, I'm certain either or both could get us a few copies. Art

Art,
I’ve heard about this book about a few months ago. Since it only over two hundreds cavaliers not all of the articles contain serial numbers, I decided to skip on this book. Also I checked with a couple fellow collectors in Russia and no one was very excited about this book. I don’t think it’s worth the money unless you have order of Cavalier from this book, which is very slim chance. |

Art,
According to one of my contacts in Russia the information in this book is not very reliable, and far from complete. Basically they put it out to make a quick buck on the growing interest in this area. Alexei |
