CSSR Branch insignia
Hello,
I've just acquired a number of collar branch insignia (infantry, transportation, medical etc. - i haven't posted any pictures yet because i'm still sorting and due to the nature of my question they may not be necessary). I've noticed that each insignia comes in 3 colors bronze, silver, and gold. My first instinct is that bronze would be for enlisted ranks, silver for NCO's and gold for officers. Can anyone verify this? Thanks Joe

From what I know there were gold for officers, silvr for EM and NCO. No bronze other than subdued used on field uniforms, but those were painted unless I am mistaken. Maybe those bronze are just de-colorized gold ones?
