what would suggest it is the region near the city of Primorsk (like e.g. "krasnoiarskiy krai") while, as far as I know, it isn't. I don't say it's a mistake, but just want to make it more clear if neccessary.
i bought all the documents for 6 $ so i don´t think it would be very profitable for the seller to fake them :)

Yes, in the fake security docs section. As I said I don't see any problem with these ones but Primorskiy Krai should ust make you more cautious, that is all.

Help with translation please

I bought this award book a couple of years ago. I wonder if anyone could help me translate the name and the awards please. I know that the bottom award is a lenin and Im guessing the other two are red banner and red star orders as they start with the same word but Im by no means sure.

I still hold on to the slim hope that I will be able to reunite at least one of these awards with the book as well as winning the lottery which is probably more likely

:)

Thanks

Mark

can someone tell me what these documents are ?

Hello everyone

I have just purchased these and was wondering if someone could fill me in on what these documents are. I know the badge is 50 years of Border Troops of KGB Badge and I know the document that goes with it ( thanks to nota bene's site ) but was wondering what the big one was and also the booklets.

Also , could anyone tell what this persons name is ?

Thanks for your help
Andrew

Andrew,

These documents were issued to Dmitry Makarovich Ivaniya:
. Small red-cover document: KGB ID to General-Mayor Ivaniya
. Small document for 50 years of Border Guard Forces
. Medium size red folder: custom made diploma to Colonel Ivaniya
. Large document: (cover) Khabarovskiy Krai Administration; (inside) to general-Mayor Ivaniya [it is really difficult to decipher as the picture is of low quality] It is some sort of efficiency/honor diploma.
I hope this helps, otherwise please post better scans of each document.

Marc
