Aeroflot Qualification Wings
Much like their military counterparts the Civil Airline Aeroflot used qualification wings for different stages and branches of service.
Shown below are the Pilot qualification wings 1st class, early style (1950's-70's) version which is enamelled and has a screwback and the later (1970's-90's) pinback version. There are a few points i need to confirm, it seems that the early version had the class 1-4 without a specific emblem for branch of service within Aeroflot. The later versions, had for example in this case a plane denoting pilot. Others have corresponding emblems to denote navigator, flight engineer etc. Furthermore are the later versions enamelled or painted or maybe even both versions exist? Regards Eddie

Re: Aeroflot Qualification Wings
The last two kinds of qualification wings that i currently know of are shown below.
These are the Navigator 3rd and Air Traffic Controller wings 4th Class. all of these branch specific qualification wings can be found in the classes 1-4. I picked the different classes so as the number styling can be seen. I haven't seen any without a number yet which do exist in the Air Force equivalent. Regards Eddie

Re: Aeroflot Qualification Wings
In the above post I mentioned that i hadn't seen qualification wings without a class nummer, that was until today when I saw this example of a Pilots wings.
So it seems that the order would be class 1-4 then unclasssified. Notice that on the Air Force wings the shield was present but no number whereas on this Civil version there is no shield. Regards Eddie
