Badge "Friend Of Books".

For lack of a better title, here are a couple of badges I have that I find interesting.

The first is a pin for "Friends of Books" but I have no idea what "DDK" stands for. If anyone knows, please share your knowledge. All I know is that it has a pre-stylized (non-eliptical) LMD mark on the reverse.

The second is from an international "society of knowledge" that is still in existence today: International Association "Znanie"

I don't know authoritatively either, but I would propose we already know what two of the letters stand for - DK, or "drug knigi". The initial "D" is the question.

After checking with my "long-haired translator" - who happens to be a philologist - the consensus here goes with "Друг Детских Книг" (Friend of children's books). She suggested that it would be a subsection of the "Friend of Books" association.
