The Chest Badge "Special Rapid Response Unit-Special Purpose Police Detachment "Lynx"" (Нагрудным Знаком «СОБР-ОМСН «Рысь»») was founded by ministerial decree in 2007.

This Badge is not a Medal no matter how much it appears to be one. It has a brilliant proof finish and is almost universally misidentified as a Medal "15 Years Of Lynx".
