"Glorious Mother" Order.

Here's unsual make of Motherhood order 2nd cl. Seller states this was recently awarded???

Note that the pinback attachment which is almost identical to recently posted / discussed Sukhe Bator award. It appears paint is used in place of enamel. Note lack of serial number.

Is there a chance this Mother award and Sukhe Bator came from the same source?

Unless my eyes are playing me a bad trick there is a S/N on this piece! I know it's not clearly visible, but it's there.
In fact I think these pieces exist with or without a S/N, probably for the same reasons as the new brass S-B.
Anyway, this looks indeed one of the new MH Orders, these started to be issued in 2003 or 2004 I believe.
There seems to be a mix of enamel and paint (or cold enamel) on these pieces, some parts are enameled, some apparently painted.

As for the new S-B these are also official and come from the same source, which is the former now privatised State mint.

The pics are from one of these on my collection. As you can see the S/N here is perfectly visible.

I think you're correct, when I look closer - SN is there, the pic isn't of best quality. I've seen these without SN, I also came across badly inscribed SN - done not with the rotating tool, but with some sort of needle instrument.

Example that you show - I have similar in my collection, in 198,000 range. It looks like they used enamel on these. But the one I posted initially - you can see it's sloppily applied paint.

You can confirm which parts have hot enamel and which ones have either paint or cold enamel with one of those black light things.

I also have this one, S/N 195923, apparently still the same kind of "needle instrument" was used, probably the same kind of yours in the 198.000 range.
I'm still not sure if this one is of the same kind as the previous one I posted
But on this one only on the green wreath paint or cold enamel has been used. For the rest it's the usual hot enamel.
On the previous one I posted, it seems that there is paint or cold enamel not only on the green wreath but also on the central part of the top red banner, where there are the letters.
As for the blue background behind the mother and the son, I just don't know for sure what it is!

Discussing these MH Orders with other members it seems that there are more variations than we initially thought!
If you notice, even the "2" (for 2nd Class) is often quite different! That's the case with these two last Orders I posted pics of.

Re: "Glorious Mother" Orders

Here is one of the rather poor quality post-Communist transitional pieces.

Glorious Mother 2nd Class #181723.
