Hi Guys,

Here's a nice badge from 1942/3, It's only problem Is a very dirty gold wreath,

Does anyone think It would be ok to clean It . or would It be best to leave It alone ?

Leave it as is - patina imparts character.

"patina imparts character" Truer words were never spoken. :)

However, some warm, soapy water and a soft toothbrush will remove crud but not patina. (rinse, and dry in a soft towel)
