Berezenko, Vladimir Ivanovich, 168th Separate Battalion Of Communications

Remains of a larger group - just 3 docs to father and son.
First we have 2 documents to Ivan Nikitich Berezenko

1. August 1945 Pass allowing entrance past the control points 1,2 and 3 in the Poltava Steam engine Repair Plant.
The pass was valid untill 31st December 1945 and was prolonged untill 31 December 1946.

His category and possible position was explained here: http://soviet-awards.com/forum/sovie...tml#post297502

2. Supreme Soviet of the Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ID stating that he was an instructor of the informational and instructing group of the Praesidium of the Supreme Soviet of the MASSR.
Issued in 1950, but since the blank document was from 40's, the one filling it in probably made a mistake and first wrote 1949 - at least tht's what it looks to me.

Aparently the cover of the ID got very dirty (did Berezenkocontinue to work with the railway?) and at some point someone (original owner or next owners) took an effort to clean the gold letters on the cover, as there's a stain around the text and some dirt remains in the corners of the letters. The cover looks better than on this scan.

To be continued...

Re: Ivan Nikitovich Berezenko and Vladimir Ivanovich Berezenko.

A receipt for a postal money transfer of 50 roubles to Berezenko in Lugansk with a stamp of the post office in Saransk, capital of the MASSR.
This receipt was placed in the uniform booklet, even though its much later - post-1953.
