It says Vice Admiral, be he is already an Admiral on that picture (three stars on the shoulder boards). Since Tributs was promoted to that rank on May 31, 1943 but still has the old style suspension / screwback awards, the picture must have been taken shortly after that date.

Here is an exceedingly rare image of a Tractor Lenin in wear - something about as difficult to come upon as a Tractor Lenin itself. Unfortunatley, there is no identification for this Engineer Corps Colonel.

A nice set of images displaying the cloth artillery insignia. Unlike the cloth airborne insignia depicted in a sister thread (in which the images were of enlisted men exclusively), all of these images are of officers. I don't know if there is a correlation.

Hmmmmm. I wonder if I have one of Tribut's uniforms. I've had this Admiral M45 for awhile and was trying to figure out the owner (relatively limited number who were full admirals in 1945 or later that never got a HSU star during the war or immediate postwar period). I've planted something in each of the holes (4 on right, one on chest). Many period pictures show screwback lenins in the mid chest although in this case, it would have required the admiral to have converted one of his ORB's to suspension.
My book says he won a lenin in 1940 and 1945, red banners in 43,44 and 48, 2 ushakov 1st classes in 44 and 45, a nakhimov 1st class in 45 and a red star in 35. There are other medals and much later orders. What say the forum?
