Note that the number on the early version (5 torches) is much higher than the one on the latest version (6 torches). I don't know why? Maybe they are numbered separately (by type) and not all together.
Hi my friend,
The six torch you have here is not lower numbered. It would have without a doubt in my mind been in the 40 thousands range the application of the pin has covered 3 numbers not 2.

Still it is an interesting item to have as it represents a conversion likely done by the recipient. That in itself makes the piece pretty unique.

:) That's my piece!!!

I'm surprised the dealer hasn't taken it off his site. I bought it a while back.

Rusty.

Hi to all of you I am a new guy on this forum and my name is Dejan.I have read your topic about that order of brotherhood II class.
Most of the points you pointed out are right but there is few things I have to add.
Both classes were made at IKOM(Zagreb) and ZIN(Belgrade) mints. All types were made whit screws and latter revorked on vertical and horizontal pins. All these modificstions were made at these two mints. There was also a lot of private revorks but that is another story. You have diferent size and types of screws.Early ones whit two, three and four serial No. are all screw versions and almost non revorked on pin.Latter on you have all sord of versions.
Early pieces whit 5 torches were in use until 1964 and after that date orders whit 6 torches were in use. That is same whit all other orders which have torches in their center.
Also almost all pieces were made from quallity silver, even latte ones.
I hope it helps
Regards
Dejan

I have 5 torches variation with the serial number in 60 000 range... It could be that it's from unawarded stock because they started to award the 6 thorches variation.
