Re: Forum
Absolutely. Questions can be asked, Questions can be answered. At the same time we have the freedom not to do both those things.
Charlet is right. Discussion of awards has gone downhill in part. Many users that once used to ask for evidence or only voice an humble opinion... turned into arrogant users offering single icon responses that scoffed all other opinions. Personally I often agree and disagree with other users... Often with humour but more often with respect. If I were to list said users there would be embarrassment. There are some truly glorious users here who never ask, least of all for personal glory. I am always open. Members in good standing know that. If I can't help hopefully I can point you in the correct position. I get great feedback... and I hope to give great feedback.... but this forum has evolved well beyond making faces at one another. I would like to thank all positive contributors. Most of you really make my day. If anyone has a problem with egomaniac threads I am also open... This is the Soviet Award Forum and not the childish tantrum medal related forum. Poking at a thread started by someone in bad standing is not as honourable as starting a fresh one.

Re: Forum
just look who has given up.
more people should say better things about this site. there are so many wonderful things to learn like geography of battles and how veterans choose to wear their awards. i don't have anything to post but i'm always enjoying and learning from all the clever posts. i've watched this place expand for about 5 years but had to sign up to see the pictures. my favorite bits are the battle maps. how can anyone complain about this free site in good faith? thank you! to all the good posters. p.s. i am just another female member. |
