Within 40 days from the day of entering Guards Captain Degtjarev, A.M. as commander of the auto-company, in the life of it there have been striking changes: Restoration and setting up of repair equipment, the use of which has been mastered in making and restoring reserve units, creating five workshops and work sites, establishing technological process and 15 auto-machines of the company have been repaired with average repairs in the current month.
The coefficient of technical preparedness has risen from 0.35 to 0.98.

75% of the auto-park of the company has been packed away, to exploit rest at the sorting station, which was carried out competently and rationally and guaranteed a saving of moto-resources.
Coefficient of successfully running auto-machines was raised on account of the introduction of the foremost exploitation of crates and loading when possible the transports of associated cargo from 0.31 to 0.89. A sharp change in image of the company in all its multifaceted work, in the newly created warehouses, servicing, in the Auto-park and in the overall feel of exemplary order. Has established and regularly conducts technical studies, political and combat preparing of the personal staff.
Commissions of the 11th Guards Rifle Corps and 2nd Guards Army carefully command the auto-company, giving a good evaluation of the general state of the units.

For the radical transformation of the everyday lives and activities of the auto-company, fixing the organisation of the person staff in their performance in a short time, of the tasks of the command and reaching results in the affairs of the restoration of the materials of the units. For personal selfless labour, Guards Captain Degtjarev, A.M. is worthy of the Governmental Award Order "Red Star".
Deputy Commander 33rd Guards Rifle Sevastopol Order Suvurov Division For The Rear Guards Major Jakobi
9th July 1945.

As for prices, dealers etc. We really need to look at the chain.

Step 1, Family of the recipient - Step 2, Local Dealer - Step 3, Bigger Dealer - Step 4, Ukrainian/Russian language online auction site - Step 5, "Western" Dealer posting on the English language auction site (Sometimes there are even more steps, like research - each of which come with a premium!)

I've noticed that many items on ebay are not only simply flipped from Cyrillic sites but often the exact same images are used, cutting out this link is probably the simplest way to save some money but you have to know what and who you are dealing with.

I picked this group up at Step 3. He had already done the research and knew that the actions were not the most "Hollywood". He could have lost the research and made up a myth (as I have seen many dealers do) but he just wanted a quick turn over. That's just what happened.

Being on the ground in Ukraine (away from the major cities) will considerably stretch your funds in comparison to buying items from a US (or other "western") based dealer.

Many people are finally getting the message that prices are considerably down and that haggling or waiting is a good strategy. With issues in Ukraine, many are eager to offload as quickly and cheaply as possible - any profit is a good profit.

I've had Documented/researched Glory IIIs and serial numbered medals thrown into orders for free to ensure I keep coming back and buying up the stock quickly and hassle free.

Take Red Stars for example, I've seen researched, fully enamelled pieces sell for $45 recently - and I'm not talking about long service pieces.

I also have a contact that works on a sliding scale. If he offers me a piece and I turn it down and he still has it a week later, it's 10% less, the next week 10% less again and so on. His stock comes in so quickly that I can wait for months as supply is well beyond demand.

It's come to the point now that I won't really consider paying $14 for a 7 digit Medal "For Combat Merits" even $12 can seem a bit heavy. $30 for a 6 digit and $80 for a 5 digit.

I do find them for those prices (and less) and one only has to look through the researched section to find all the ones I've bought up and researched.

There are still hundreds of thousands of bargains to be found out there!
