Hey Eric... did you make the little tags? or, did you have them made? I assume they are brass. Hard to tell.

I order them from a small business not far from my job. This business makes sport awards (medals, plaques, etc). They are aluminum. Size 1,5x0,5 inch. The reverse has glue, so they are easy to attach. I paid with the writing between $1.50-$2.00 for each. It's not bad.
I checked jewlery stores. They are much more expensive. They asked for $20-25 per piece

Eric: Very nice. Did you cut the matt boards yourself? How deep / thick are your displays? I'm wondering if you used regular picture frames or whether you used deeper shadow boxes.

Brian: Looking good buddy. You're making better progress getting your finds on the wall than I am. See ya in a couple of weeks.

These frames are from Fred Meyer store ($9.95 - 50% off). They are deep frames, like shadow boxes (1 1/4 inch deep).
I ordered matts from a framing shop (professionals).
I tried to cut by my self - it was terrible

OK, my next project. I'm trying to figure out a way to do another shadow box with more medals I bought. How would you go about mounting these?

Here is more on the same Order of Badge of Honor. Any chance soneone could tell me the name that is written too? Thanks!

Brian

Here is what I ended up trying. I got another shadow box ($12 at the local store). I don't have a great fortune in orders or medals.. but, it's a cool souvenir set I brought back. I really like the ORS's I found.
