Yes. Just look at the different types of rings in the pic. But those are not voenkomat medals so it's a different story.

Good idea ! ;)

If you`ve got the idea to collect every variation of the campaign medals, etc. you`ve got a lot of work to do indeed... but otherwise - why not !? Most higher orders of the former Soviet Union are that expensive today - for most of us it will be impossible now and in future to obtain one :( So why not collecting variations of medals !?

I collect campaign medals. My goals is to get three variations of each campaign medal. I have already collected about 70%. Campaign medals are the best.

No. I am primarily interested in medals. Besides, collecting both the documents and medals would be too costly financially. But if you can, why not.
