Innovator Badge.
After some discussion on the Korea sub-forum about awards for invention, here are some Mongolian examples.
The Inventor's Medal (type 1, silver, B# V28). |

Re: Badges for inventors
I like this type 1 a lot and have a bunch sitting in a shoe box somewhere as well. A pity that there's not more documentation behind them (I think I do have the award doc for one of them as part of a group, pictured on another forum) as I suspect there must be some interesting stories behind these medals. In a way it seems a bit overkill though - wouldn't the existing labor orders/medal already suffice? Or the merit badge?

Re: Badges for inventors
I agree, Bob. I am sure there are tales to tell. I think I have a document for this badge somewhere too, but it isn't among things that I've scanned. Must seek.

Re: Badges for inventors
Here's my type 1, it's a great badge. Not very common and seems to be in demand...I was happy I found mine. Is this a "youth" or regular award? Seems like Battushig has it filed in the Youth section of his catalog, but I thought this was a general awarding.
