Short, concrete description of the personal combat feat or merits:

During the regiment’s offensive fighting for the town of Gorzyce on April 15, 1945, Yermakbayev showed exceptional persistence, and bravery and skilfulness while commanding his crew. While supporting the 5th Rifle Company comrade Yermakbayev continuously provided the attacking infantry with machine gun fire.

During this battle, the machine gun crew commanded by comrade Yermakbayev killed up to 15 German soldiers and took 3 soldiers prisoner. With his submachine gun comrade Yermakbayev personally killed 7 enemy soldiers during this battle.

During the fighting for the town of Uchylsko, the machine gun crew commanded by comrade Yermakbayev killed up to 20 enemy soldiers. During the trench fighting he killed 9 soldiers with his submachine gun and grenades and took 4 soldiers prisoner.

He acted bravely and decisively, and through his actions he inspired other soldiers to conduct heroic combat feats. His combat actions assured the accomplishment of the assigned combat mission.

He deserves the Order of the Red Banner.
