Victory Order.
The Victory Order (Huân Chương Chiến Thắng) was founded on 2nd February 1958 and was, until it was cancelled on 26th November 2003, the 8th highest Order.
It came in three classes that were awarded for; 1. First Class: Field Officers or higher holding that position for 1 year or more during the resistance period. Company Officers having held that position for five consecutive years or more during the resistance period, always actively engaged. 2. Second Class: Field Officers or higher holding that position for less than a year during the resistance period. Company Officers having held that position for one year or more during the resistance period. Non-Commissioned Officers who have held that position for 5 years or more during the resistance period, always actively engaged. 3. Third Class: Company Officers having held that position for less than a year during the resistance period. Non-Commissioned Officers who have held that position for a period of one year during the resistance period. Soldiers who have served for 5 years or more during the resistance period, always actively engaged. Here is an early example of the 3rd Class.
