Ach so. Stabsoberfähnrich?
Here's mine. Oberst in the Signal's trade. This was made up by me.

Re: 2 tunics of mine
I'm not much on DDR stuff either (even Stasi - believe it or not guys ;)), but I have to give them credit for eye-catching and practical (4-pocket) uniforms.
Nice ones Patrick.:thumbsup Phillip

Re: 2 tunics of mine
Here is mine. I want to get a dark collar tunic next year... and a size 58 hat (if anybody wants a size 60, this is it).

Re: 2 tunics of mine
What are the cufftitles on the second tunic for? My DDR knowledge is sadly lacking.

Re: 2 tunics of mine
Eric,
those are patches for warrant officers (Fähnrich). BTW, nice tunics! :thumbsup I don´t like DDR awards and militaria that much, but their uniforms still kept that classic and attractive prussian touch. And I think the "wings" of the airforce uniform is wrong. The one your uniform has is for infantry.

Re: 2 tunics of mine
These are not cufftitles but tresses for the function of Hauptfeldwebel (Spiess). The sleeve shield is for a Fähnrich.
The "wings" are right for this tunic. They are for general qualification and could be worn by army, air force and marine members. |
