Bought these two in Tbilisi, Georgia recently - one on the left (#1054401) is Type 6, v2, and I think the other one (#142762) is a Type 4 Semi-Long oval.

Being a new collector, can someone tell me 1) if my identifications are accurate, 2) if these are real/fake, and 3) what the value of them is. I paid about $38 for the older one and about $15 for the Type 6. Good deal or no?

Thanks for the help!

Dgharvey,

According to Mc Daniel's book, the one with a flat reverse should be a Type 4.

Type 4

Thanks Dolf-
Just after I posted, I noticed that the difference between the Long, Semi-Long and Short ovals has to do with the length of the spans underneath the hammer & sickle. Judging by that, mine is a T4.

RBL twin brothers

Hi to all,

Nothing special, just common orders of Red banner of labor. But for me it happens first time, that I found orders where serial numbers are number after number. So welcome to my collection- twin brothers snr. 1237041 and 1237042.

Regards,

Lauri

That's really cool to see actually. Did you acquire both pieces from the same source? Or did you find them seperately?

Hi,

they came from the same source without documents. I think they are unissued orders.

Lauri

Stefan,

No question here, it is a 6.2.2.
