Fake S/N "Dublikat"

Title says it all. The base medal is 100% genuine, however the serial number was added to increase its premium for sale.

A tendency is for forgers to repeat digits or double use a "6" and invert it for a "9" to reduce the number of suspect digits and make their job easier. Here you have the repeating "1" and "4".

Yes, the digits do not look quite right. One has to be careful though with repeat digits; it happens that there are original ones :D
