Here is a pair of reunited Medals "For Participation In The Balkan Wars 1912-1913" and "For Participation In The European War 1915-1918" awarded to 1888 born Donko Hristov Donkov of Karlov. Both awarded 1st June 1937.

The Balkan Wars saw him as a Medical Private in the Cholera Hospital in Plovdiv and the Great War saw him as a Medical Second Lieutenant in the 41st Infantry Regiment. The 41st was in the 3rd Brigade of the 3rd Balkan Infantry Division, 2nd Army and later Army Group Scholtz under German control fighting against the British French and Greeks on the Macedonian Front.
