I. Brief description of personal feat

On the May 1st, 1945 during the battle with the enemy grouping in the region of Scharfenbrück (Germany), Comrade Oberemok in the group of scouts on the territory of one of the key regions repelled multiple attacks of enemy’s outnumbering forces that tried to break through the defense line of the first battalion and surround it. In these battles Comrade Oberemok personally killed 15 German soldiers and captured two German officers.
Thanks to his bravery and skillful combat maneuvers, Comrade Oberemok nullified the risk of an enemy surrounding of the 1st Rifle Battalion and contributed to the successful defeat of the grouping and completion of the combat missions.
For the courage and bravery manifested in the battle with German Fascism, Comrade Oberemok deserves the governmental award of the Order of the Red Star.
