"Made To Order" Order Group.

Here is a 10 piece Order Bar I acquired in 2010. All the Orders are of a rather late variation and all civilian awards which leads me to believe that this set has probably been put together for a quick profit to sell to the first "collector" that turned up.

The bar consists of;
Order "9th September 1944" 1st Class
Order "9th September 1944" 2nd Class
Order "9th September 1944" 3rd Class
"Order Of Labour" 1st Class
"Order Of Labour" 2nd Class
"Order Of Labour" 3rd Class
Order "People's Republic Of Bulgaria" 1st Class
Order "People's Republic Of Bulgaria" 2nd Class
Order "People's Republic Of Bulgaria" 3rd Class
Order "Red Banner Of Labour" (With Medal "For Labour Distinction" Ribbon)

Yeah, more than likely home-made, and probably for profit. Note the poor 'ribboning'. I see by far most of the Soviet ribbon bars that are the same way.
But it doesn't hurt too bad if it's just sold as a bar, as longs as there's no made up BS about it's being Eva Braun's bar. :)

Still, your bar is pretty sexy. You could get an empty suspension and mount a bunch of lower-level medals. Together they would make a nice display.

$35 got it to my door.... I don't think anyone made too much money out of it. If someone has been wearing that bar their back will be knackered! There is some weight in all that non-precious metal and enamel.

On the point of ribbons etc. towards the end of the PRB lots of awards came on smaller ribbons, although I've never seen a bar made for these smaller ribbons.... I'm sure someone would try to argue that point to try and sell you a fake bar as real though.

I have considered removing those awards from the bar and replacing them with a REAL 10 piece group but I like to be faithful to what lands here and I'm not one for much swapping and changing. In fact at this moment this is the only "set" of awards I have that isn't all on independent suspensions.

Sad that faked-up sewage like this is out there, poisoning the communal well for our generation and future generations.

Nice price!!! I was really close, at one point, to getting hooked on Bulgaria as they were, and still are, pretty damned cheap. Somehow I developed enough smarts to stick with Soviet. Well, and a few Mongolians....and a couple Yugoslavians.... and of course the German stuff...and the tallies and the hats and that one Brit bar.

I've done the re-ribboning a few times. While the results are usually nice it can be a pain in the butt, especially when you're 1cm short on ribbon. Plus, you know you're destroying history. Yeah, it wasn't authentic to begin with, probably, but you're just making it worse.

Anyway, if you do want to re-suspension I have a bunch of late-issue, aluminium, Soviet single suspensions you can have cheap (or trade).
