Short, concrete description of the personal combat feat or merits:

During the fighting with the German invaders on February 11, 1944 near the town of Tartak he displayed bravery and courage. With a group of scouts, numbering 11 men, comrade Yegorov engaged a column of up to 400 Germans, and inflicted heavy losses upon the enemy.
The German soldiers and officers killed in action alone totalled over 50 bodies, which were left on the battlefield by the Germans. Moreover, 6 German soldiers were taken prisoner.

He deserves the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class.
