An award card dated 5 April 1955 captures the same information as above, yet mentions an Order Booklet (?) 457449 and adds a Bravery Medal #3.588.372 awarded by the 465 Rifle Regiment on 30.10.44 and an unnumbered Glory III awarded by the 167 Rifle Division on 3.12.44.

Another abbreviated award card dated 4 April 1956 verifies the information stated immediately above.

An interesting correction for a glorious confusion. So often, these seem to have gone uncorrected.

Re: Glory II,38256,Machinegun Commander,465th Rifle Regiment,Ruske-Velka Polyana

Do i have this right... He was awarded an OG3 in 1944 for the action mentioned above. He then was awarded a second OG3 for another feat, then they realised their mistake and gave him his 2nd class 11 years later?

Cheers,

Tom

Oh nice award though!
