Re: Unknown document
Its a Gramota, often a "Thanks to Unit XX for their work in capturing XXX". Essentially an awarded certificate i think.
What this one specifically says is beyond me i'm afraid. Something to do with the Belorussian Polictical Department?? Someone else here will be able to read it! Tom Last edited by Tommy; 12-27-2012 at 08:03 AM. |

Re: Unknown document
It may have been awarded for hard work, or perhaps to a factory or organisation of some sort. They were awarded for almost everything it seems.
Hopefully someone will pop along soon and translate! |

Re: Unknown document
If you are asking someone to do assist you, my recommendation is to make it as easy as possible for him to do it. Try reposting vertically and blow up the text portion.

Diplomas of timber industries
These diplomas are issued by units working for the timber industries ministry: designs are similar on the lower side of these diplomas

Diplomas of railways
These 2 diplomas are issued for workers linked to railways field, but for different specialities. These diplomas are very similar and differed only on details: the first one is for railways contruction and the second one for locomotive and wagons construction

Re: Diplomas of railways
The 2 diplomas are from the same series. They are similar, except for the fact that the red star on the locomotive is replaced by 2 hammers (symbols of soviet railways).
