Enlarging pictures on my Ipad

Hi is it a fault that when I enlarge pictures they close after a second?

Found out that I just had to click the thumbnail to enlarge the pic

The forum software is not really compatible with hand-held devices.
I have had various issues when trying to access the forum on my phone (especially when trying to enlarge pictures).

For best results a good old fashioned pc or laptop is the best option.

I can not speak to the utilization of Apple products, iPad, iPhone, etc., but I use an android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) with a Firefox web browser with good results, different operating systems notwithstanding. To enlarge the picture I simply tap on the thumbnail. This opens another window then I simply tap on the image, this enables me to then and thereby enlarge the image. Please reference the screen shot I created and posted using my phone below.
