Post Counter Repaired.

As most of you know the post counter has been quirky for the last few years. Thanks to the boss, the issue has been finally resolved.

Some users had post counts up to 4000 over, some 7000 under and some that varied from day to day - all fixed!

At the time of this post all user's post counts are the real number. Some will have gone up and some down but they should all go up by 1 with each new post.

This screenshot will say it all - SPACECADET1983's post count has read 0 since I joined.

Does the fixed post counter count all posts or only those from recent years? My counter should read somewhere between 1500 and 2000 I guess, but my post count keeps decreasing. I remember that a few months ago I was at 1000, but right now it's at just 776. Is this the correct number (which would mean that a large number of posts have been merged / deleted / dissapeared) or is the count still off? It's not the number I particularly care about, but it would be a shame if posts containing valuable information mysteriously dissapear.

I think the main reason some post counts will seem to have dropped considerably is due to the fact that posts in some areas of the forum (such as those in the Market Archive) no longer count towards the post count (nor do current Marketplace posts).

Before the reset the post counter was certainly very quirky - hopefully this has fixed it for at least the moment.

Additionally I've noticed that many avatars have been malfunctioning over the last few years and I have been repairing those that I have noticed. If any user has an issue with their avatar not presenting itself correctly or would simply like a new one, they can simple send me a pm and we can take it from there.
