Ok, so would anyone care to rewrite my list with some more realistic prices then.

Kind Regards,
Shane Cook.

Shane,

If you want realistic prices look on the dealers web pages. There are three of them on this board. These are realistic prices and the items are not fakes.

If you want to wait for your prices, I hoope you have another hobby as you will not be buying any Soviet awards anytime soon.

Good luck,
Ed

lets say if you buy this stuff paying double of your prices, you still can consider yourself lucky.

$100 for Lenin with document sounds attractive considering it contains almost 30g of gold and any jewel shop would pay over $350 for that as of piece of gold.

Euguene,

The line reads:

$100 - Lenin with matching document containing a photo as a swap for my Lenin with a document with does NOT have a matching serial number.

I already have a Lenin, I just wanted to 'upgrade' to one with a photo id and a matching order book.

Kind Regards,
Shane Cook.

I was looking through Floyd Auction's realized prices from 2000 and noticed they are quite low by today's standards.

Realized Prices:

Auction form February 17, 2000
948 USSR. O. Red Banner $27
949 USSR. O. Friendship of Nations $130
950 USSR. Order October Revolution "79407" $85
951 USSR. Order October Revolution "68815" $80
953 USSR. Medal of Nakhimov $140
955 USSR. Medal for Meritorious Svc in Battle $55
965 USSR. Honored Railroad Worker Badge $35

Nakhimov medal for $140 - OUCH!, what was I thinking back in 2000?

MAY 8, 2000
909 USSR. O. October Revolution, 49175 $65
924 USSR. Mounted group of ten, with Order of Glory $110

November 16, 2000
1108 USSR. O. Red Banner; plus 5 others $75
1110 USSR. Order of Glory, 3cl; plus 6 others $67
1119 USSR. Def Leningrad; Odessa; Caucasus $30
1120 USSR. Liberation Warsaw; Prague; Capture Vienna $35
1123 USSR. Victory Over Japan; plus 5 others $27
1127 USSR. Ukraine Deputy's Badge, 410 $75
1129 USSR. Mounted Group of 7 $75

ODESSA Medal plus 2 other Def medals - just $30 !!!!!!

Vlad,
First, you have to add 15-20 % commission to the price.
Second, how do you know Nakhimov and Odessa medals were original? They sell fakes as well.

Eugene,

good points, you never know what you'll get once the auction is over - they may very well be fakes.

I just thought the prices were low 3 yrs ago at that specific auction, they sell awards for a lot more now.

Well, some are rare, but the price!...............$7,500!!!!

But hey, the seller's words:

"Quite low price for such set, I believe. Just look at the pictures. Feel free to ask any questions."

That's almost $40 a piece!

Some of his badges may sell for $40 or more, but majority will not. It's too expensive for the entire set.

If Prices are rising.............

Then someone in Bulgaria hasn't heard about the lot going on Ebay currently for $310 US. Includes a Lenin, 1st and second award ORB, OPW1st class, defense of Kiev, etc with documents. If they're legit it's a deal....
