Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

During his work in the Special Mobile Aviation Repair Station Comrade Bernatskii has proven himself a technologically proficient and self-controlled commander.

During his time in the unit he has managed the repair of radio devices and equipment and at present has conducted the repair of devices with a high degree of quality and more rapidly than established norms. He has repaired various types of radio receivers and the constructed 63 units.

Additionally, every fifth day he visits the airfield and tests radio equipment directly on the aircraft.

He loves his work and labors to increase his technical knowledge; he has great knowledge of repairing radio devices which he tries to impart to his subordinates.

Conclusion: For excellent repair of radio apparatuses and displaying valor and bravery he is deserving of the Order of the Red Star.

Document I02081 awards the Defense of Sevastopol Medal to Vladimir Aleksandrovich Bernatskii by an edict dated 22nd December, 1942 of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet USSR by the Sevastopol Municipal Deputy Committee of the Working Class Executive Committee Chairman (?) on 28th January, 1946.
