An interesting little pair.

-- Medal for Valor -- unnumbered -- 1968

The interest (so says the researcher) comes from the valor medal, suggesting a Civil War veteran.

Sadly, the RBL is too late to hold much hope of research (for now?).

There is an awarding on 28.12.67 of awards to participants of the 1917 revolution, maybe this is linked? 50 year anniversary and all.

I can't read the writing on the RBoL doc, what month does it say??
