After reading the posts here I became suspicious to a meaningful part of my collection...

hello, the external rim is not regular, no wear traces but no hammer and cicle on the star...the ring is baddly soldered... the interior rim, on the averse, in the continuation of the ribbon, on the left shows an irregularity... Those are many points against this piece!

Additional to the previous points it also seems to lack definition.
Mint struck original items are rather well defined and crisp.

Sorry but i think it's bad.

Variation 2 with the pointed down beard on Lenin have different ring.

Coupled with this, i don't like the fonts on the reverse.

Anyone else?

Looks like a casted medal to me.

The rim around the medal is uneven.

Have a look at the inscription CCCP.
Letters are not scrip. The third C looks strange.
