Darrell,
To me it looked like it was on the silver under the enamel, but like I said I wasn't sure and may not be able to tell from a scan. Alexei |

Hi guys, this is my medal, I'm selling it.
It's late here in Belgium, I'll post better pix tomorrow. The "nick" is actually an enamel chip, so on the surface, not under Best regards Jan |

Here's another shot with a better view of the chip in the enamel.
If you would like other views or angles let me know Jan Last edited by vatjan; 05-26-2007 at 07:07 PM. |

Hi everyone,
I have one as well. I know that the suspension and ribbon are obviously fake. I'm curious about the medallion. The funny thing is, the rays of the star clearly go to the middle, but don't look like it in the scan... Any takers? Anyone? What do you think? Look at the black and white detail picture. You can see that the rays go clearly to the middle. The scanner seems to wash them out. Too much reflecting light perhaps? Thanks, Andrew Last edited by amgray19; 06-11-2007 at 04:17 PM. Reason: another detail pic... |

Andrew,
From these pictures I don't see any obvious problems. The suspension doesn't belong to it. Alexei |
