Transition from the USSR to the Russian Federation
Hey guys,
One thing I find that has been vaguely discussed on this forum of uniforms from the USSR to the Russian Federation. I would like to make this thread into a reference guide (well, not exactly) regarding the matter. Everything from the date/range of the transition of uniform piece (Some soviet cockades are still being used to this day) to what the new pieces look like, etc. I know that this should probably in the Russian Federation thread, but I feel that it will get more "publicity" in this thread. Please note that for naval uniforms, the differences will vary not as much. Pictures will help. I have some (mainly naval), but am unable to provide dates: Enlisted Cap:

I know. Its mentioned somewhere in the first post. I still got more info, but I'm really tired now... I'm gonna put Navy officer caps, transitional caps, actual russian post transitional caps, uniforms, belts, etc.
