Hi Aharim

The medal is not covered in either volume I or volume II, part I, of the Space Exploration Awards books. Maybe Space Control Center (TsUP), and hopefully, Yu. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (TsPK) medals will be covered in volume II, part II!:)

Here are a couple of photos I found of the head of Russia's Federal Space Agency Anatoly Perminov presenting a cosmonaut statue and FSA's Gagarin Badge to China's first man in space, Col. Yang Liwei on August 19, 2005. While they are dated, I haven't found any other photos showing this badge being given to any cosmonauts or astronauts.
