Dolf, I'm not sure at all, for two reasons: I'm not ceratin Zaitsev was in the Red Army by the times of attribution of this medal (1938-39 mainly);
and this medal was given to colonels and generals (mainly the "survivors" of the great purges of 1938...).I'm right?
