Just bought this RBL type 3 variation 1. The S/N is actually lower than the lowest recorded number in PMD's book. For your info.

Danny,

According to the Mondvor site I guess it should be a T3V2, even thought the S/N is a bit lower than the lowest number they mention for this Variation (22,911). So yours should be now the lowest S/N ovserved for this Variation, I guess.
According to PMD it's indeed a T3V1, and yours is still the lowest S/N observed for this Variation! Bravo!
Beautiful piece! Congrats!

Rusty, can you please confirm this?

Thanks,

Dolf

Guys,

According to MonDvor site:

T3V1 - 21061 - 27721 - No MM
T3V2 - 21016 - 25447 - Curved down Monetny in MM
T3V3 - 27632 - 28150 - Large MM
T3V4 - 30164 - 35225 - Although number 23,203 has been observed which is out of synch with this type. Danny's # 22,143 falls into the T3V4 with previously noted # 23,203.

Danny's mint mark is identical to a T3V4.

Rusty.

Guys,

Don't get it!
Doesn't it matches every charachteristic for a T3V2 ?
MM in the upper part, the curved down Monetny in MM (I didn't have this on my "Rusty Variations" for a V2!), and the S/N, even thought mine (your fault Rusty ;) ) was outdated.

So why a T3V4 ?

Thanks,

Dolf

Dolf,

The great thing about the MonDvor site is that it's dynamic. Every time a new type or variation pops up the site is updated!

I usually check my list every few months...

Even though the S/N places this piece in an earlier type the MM and the characteristics of the piece place it in the later type.

Rusty.

In checking the MM of the T3V4 on the mondvor site, I've noticed some slight differences with mine. It seems the T3V4 MM is more compressed and the serial number is engraved lower. Do these things make a difference? Definitely not a T3V2 as the MM is curved upwards.

Hi everybody,

like to ad my UFO-RLB No. 25842.

The bottomline of Monetny looks just like the opposite to yours, Dannybou !

The scratches under the serial no. may be caused by repairing the star? It is slightly movable yet.

So this is this also T3V4 ?

Red Banner of Labor T6

Gentlemen,

For your viewing enjoyment, a very unusual Order of the Red Banner of Labor Type 6 that I brought back from my last trip to St Petersburg. It is struck in brass.
