Soviet marine helmet?

I don't know if this is a proper place, but I would like to hear opinions on this helmet.

Hmmm....not easy to say. The helmet may well be genuine, the paint job however is anyones guess. Your helmet certainly looks well weathered and I would say there is a strong possibility that it is genuine, but paint jobs on naval infantry helmets are very easy to fake so I would proceed with caution. Does the wear look genuine on close up inspection?
