Re: Help pls

So, the dude in the middle (who used Tide with bleach) would be a Major. The dude on the right would be a Captain. And the dude on the left would be ?

Thanks!

Re: Help pls

Wouldn't he just be a plain "Policeman" Милиционер? With a Sgt. and Jr Lt?

Re: Help pls

Perhaps hard to tell but do you think this is the dude in the middle circa 45?

It appears that the two have the same rank.

Thanks.:thumbsup

What about the dude on the left and on the right having circa 1940 tankist uniforms? The only thing is that they dont have the little tank thingy on their collar tabs but perhaps those came in after 40?
Shouldn't the tankist have black tabs with red piping? his definately aren't

Re: Help pls

If those are actually squares on the collar of middle soldier, I would think that would make him a political officer with the photo taken sometime between when the stars came off the sleeves in 1942 and the epaulets went on in 1943. The piping on all of them looks black rather than subdued so they all may be comissars of some rank or another.

Re: Help pls

The pair on the right. I have a tunic very similar to the one in the middle and as I understand it, it is supposed to be for a commissar as Jeffrey suggested.
