Its from a collection of a friend of mine; he recently sold the set to me and I sold it to another high end collector. Its a great set, and the owner had it medaled perfectly ( at least with copies) as well as Purkayev's full service record.

It was a really nice set! I still get to visit it now and then. the hat had some damage ( look at the center of the bill) as it had been crushed on transport over. Its been restored pretty well. The tunic was perfect.

Yes, this particular tunic isn't bad at all. Personally, I don't care for the up-angle point of the tunic's front tip preferring instead the more horizontal tip variants for my personal collection.

When I collected I had about 20 VP generals /admirals and I had a love for the "sharp" breast point. This one is about the most angled I had seen though. We replaced the belt with the M1943 silver type (back then you could still get them!).

People should get to see the uniform more as I have it lined up for V2 of the generals book.

Slava, how about some pics of your VPs? : ) I would post mine, but I only have one left ( my first, just a Major General of Rifles, but I love it still).
