The earliest "honored" badge for internal security. Used until the 1940s?

I don't seem to have a scan of the reverse here, sorry. To make up for it, an image of Choibalsan wearing the badge ca. 1941. Will fetch it home, scan it, and post the image later.

Did not expect to get this added to my collection anymore, but certainly very happy that it suddenly appeared! A beautiful (large!) badge and undoubtedly with an interesting life!:thumbsup
