Here's some more images to consider, Phil. While the Vol. Fireman is the larger badge in area, it appears to have less weight than the others. It is nearly 100% reverse on the back; stamped out of brass. The central insignia is attached, probably by some sort of glue, so it's a two piece. Now, from what period? I'm not sure (it does LOOK earlier than the other two badges), but if anyone does know, please share.
