I am no expert at generals caps, but I don't like it.
1.It's VV MVD cap (at least it seems so), and existence of this caps is doubtful, tough that fact itself doesn't mean anything. 2.It has a dimond-shaped label, which was almost (in 99% of cases) never seen on generals' caps. 3.Sweatband looks somewhat crude. Also it looks as if it is made of the material used in 50's and 60's, while the cap is later. |

Neferet,
It does not look good to me: general construction, sweatband, embroideries, etc. Marc |

cap
I have to agree with the above two opinions...it is not well put together, the materials are not high quality, and the embroidery looks a lot like the modern Ukrainian work.
MVD generals caps / items are out there; i have sold in the past year a nice blood-red piped MVD overcoat and an MVD generals service tunic. Rare, but they do show up now and then. DougD |

Hat
:thumbsdown I would not go so far as to say it is a fake, but the materials look questionable.

Thanks for your comments, although this might not have made me very happy :). I am hoping to make some pictures and contrast this cap, which does not seem original, which I have with another that it is. When you have to send the photos to confirm your opinion.
Thanks, |
